Hans Werner
Born in 1450.
Died in 1499.
Hans Werner was a glass artist from Lucerne. His work focused primarily on the creation of stained-glass windows, for which he received commissions from churches, municipal buildings and private residences. Although details of his artistic career remain partly obscure, his activity attests to recognised expertise in the field of glass art at the end of the fifteenth century.
