Hans Ulrich Fisch II is recognised as an artist in the fields of painting and stained glass. He produced works such as heraldic stained-glass panels, sketches and views. A member of the Fisch family of painters, he was the brother of Hans Balthasar Fisch and the son of Hans Ulrich Fisch I.
Although his artistic legacy is documented, certain uncertainties remain concerning the extent of his production and his influence in the artistic milieu of his time.
