Hans Jörg Wannenwetsch IV. He is recognised as a glass painter, having been trained by his father, Hans Jörg Wannenwetsch III. His work includes stained glass, notably heraldic panels for the Bärenzunft in Basel.
Over the course of his career, he gradually abandoned the technique of glass in favour of oil painting, thus marking an evolution in his artistic practice.
