Hans Jörg Wannenwetsch II.
Born in 1611.
Died in 1679.
Hans Jörg Wannenwetsch II is recognised for his work as a glass painter. He produced numerous commissioned stained-glass works for guilds and coats of arms in Basel. In 1652, he transferred approximately 4000 coat-of-arms drawings to Remigius Fäsch.
He was the son of Jakob Wannenwetsch, suggesting a family continuity in the art of stained glass.
