Hans Huber
Born in 1479.
Died in 1515.
Hans Huber was a painter from Feldkirch in the Vorarlberg region. His artistic activity is attested by altars bearing his signature, notably in Lantsch in 1479 and in Tumegl/Tomils in 1490. In addition, certain panel works are attributed to him, notably those in the chapel of Vaduz Castle and on the altarpiece of the altar in Chur.
These elements testify to his involvement in the religious art of his time, although uncertainties remain regarding the entirety of his oeuvre.
