Hans Gessner was an artist whose work encompassed both sculpture and painting. He devoted himself primarily to creating figurative sculptures, including depictions of animals and portraits. From 1940 onwards, he also broadened his expressive range by turning to painting, thereby enriching his artistic repertoire.
