Hans Füchslin
Born in 1558.
Died in 1586.
Hans Füchslin is recognised for his work as a glass painter. In 1558, he was elected to the Council of Forty, a position that attests to his commitment to civic life. His stained-glass works adorn several notable sites, including the church of Seengen, the Schützenhaus in Bremgarten, and the town of Bremgarten itself.
He also contributed to the decoration of the monasteries of Hermetschwil and Einsiedeln and of the chapter of Beromünster. The details of his artistic production remain partly obscure, leaving questions about the scope and impact of his work.
