Hans Friedrich Kolman
Died in 1615.
Hans Friedrich Kolman, who was active as a stained-glass artist in Schaffhausen between 1585 and 1588, is an artist whose career remains partly obscure. A pupil of Marx Grimm, he obtained the title of master in 1592. Although his work is poorly documented, it bears witness to a period of transition in the art of stained glass, in which local influences and traditional techniques became interwoven.
