Hans Comiotto
Born in 1906.
Died in 1972.
Hans Comiotto was an artist engaged in painting and drawing. He received private instruction in watercolour from Hans Jenny, which enriched his artistic practice. Alongside his artistic activity, Comiotto worked as an illustrator and lithographer.
From 1927 onwards, he also worked as a primary-school teacher, thereby combining his passion for art and education. The details of his artistic and pedagogical career suggest a trajectory marked by a duality between creation and the transmission of knowledge.
