Hans Ardüser was an artist whose activity extended across several fields. He is known as a Wandermaler, Schulmeister, poet and chronicler. His works include wall frescoes, both on the façades and in the interiors of private houses and churches located in the canton of Graubünden.
His activity is documented up to 1614 through the inscriptions in his Rhaetian Chronicle, which testify to his commitment to documenting his own time.
