Guillaume Coquin
Born in 1432.
Died in 1481.
Guillaume Coquin was an artist whose activity focused on painting and the creation of stained-glass windows. He is first mentioned under the name Guillaume de Coppet. From 1445 onwards, he was involved in maintaining the stained-glass windows of the Chapel of the Maccabees at Saint Peter’s Cathedral in Geneva, and it is probable that he also contributed to those in the choir.
Between 1436 and 1437, he participated in the production of the stained-glass windows for the church in Nyon, thereby demonstrating his involvement in significant projects of the period.
