Gregor Kogler was a painter whose activity is documented in Hergiswil. In the 1780s, he created a mural depicting Saint Christopher on the south-west wall of the parish church of Saint Nicholas in St. Niklausen, in the canton of Nidwalden. Little information survives about his career, leaving some uncertainty as to the extent of his oeuvre and his influence in the artistic sphere of his time.
