Gregor Brandmüller
Born in 1661.
Died in 1691.
Gregor Brandmüller was a painter whose activity focused on portraiture and history painting. He was a pupil of Charles Le Brun, a prominent figure in French art. His career led him to work in several cities, notably Basel, Paris and Versailles, where he was able to develop his style and technique.
Although the details of his artistic production are poorly documented, his affiliation with influential artistic centres of his time suggests a significant contribution to Baroque painting.
