Gottlieb Soland

Gottlieb Soland (1928–2011) created a poster entitled Grammo-grafik, dated 1957 and listed in the SFMOMA’s online database. The presence of this poster in a public online collection provides clear documentary evidence of at least one dated work recorded in digital museum registers.

In 1955, he married Heidi Schatzmann.

The SFMOMA record explicitly mentions the poster Grammo-grafik (1957), while noting that the locations of works may change and that not all are permanently on view. Accordingly, without assuming that the corpus is exhaustive, it can be stated that at least one work by Gottlieb Soland is documented in a publicly accessible online collection.
