Giuseppe Reina
Born in 1759.
Died in 1836.
Giuseppe Reina was an artist whose work encompassed history painting, portraiture and scenography. He continued his studies at the Academy of Turin, an institution recognised for its artistic training. In 1812, he was in Moscow, which could indicate a broadening of his creative horizons.
His activity as a copyist also testifies to a meticulous and respectful approach to earlier works, although the precise details of his artistic production remain partly obscure.
