Giulio Andreotto
Born in 1652.
Giulio Andreotto was a Moesano painter whose artistic activity is attested by the execution of affreschi in the parish church of Tiefencastel. Although few other details about his life and work are available, this contribution to a place of worship bears witness to his commitment to the sacred art of his time. The frescoes, often rich in symbolism and spirituality, reflect the aesthetic and religious concerns of seventeenth-century Switzerland.
The absence of information about his subsequent career leaves a certain mystery surrounding his artistic path.
