Giovanni Stefano Scotti was a painter from Piacenza. Together with his brother Giovanni Bernardino, he directed an artistic workshop responsible for the frescoes executed on the tramezzo of the church of S. Maria delle Grazie in Belinzona between 1513 and 1515.
The son of Gottardo Scotti, his work attests to a family collaboration in the field of sacred art.
