Giacomo Damosti

Born in 1750.

Giacomo Damosti, a painter from Palagnedra, was active in the Locarnese region around 1750. He is particularly known for having produced a significant work, a pala d’altare, for the chapel dedicated to Saints Fabiano and Sebastiano in Ascona. Details of his life and work remain partly obscure, leaving open questions about his career and his influence on the artistic landscape of his time.
