Gerold Hunziker
Born in 1894.
Died in 1980.
Gerold Hunziker was a recognised Swiss artist known for his work as a painter and graphic artist. He also explored scenography and mural painting. Between 1921 and 1935, he lived in Paris, where he collaborated with his twin brother, Werner Hunziker.
Gerold was the son of Hermann Hunziker, attesting to an artistic lineage. Although his work is less well known, it deserves to be rediscovered in the context of twentieth-century Swiss art.
