Gabriel Lory fils

Gabriel Lory fils is identified in the sources as an artist from Neuchâtel. He trained under his father and worked with him on commissions in Herisau and Neuchâtel. Among the old prints catalogued by the Galerie des Annonciades, the documentation consulted notes a reference to “Mathias Gabriel Lory” (drawing for an engraving, c.

1821), a useful observation for distinguishing possible namesakes or other members of the Lory family active in the nineteenth century.
