Fritz Engel was a German artist whose activity took place primarily in Zurich around 1899. He is recognised for his talents as a painter and sculptor. Among his notable works are busts of Gottfried Keller and Conrad Ferdinand Meyer, exhibited at the Zentralbibliothek in Zurich.
Engel was also active in Erfurt and Munich around 1912. Although his artistic career was relatively short, it testifies to a significant contribution to the art scene of his time.
