Franz Ziltiner

Franz Ziltiner, who was active as a stained-glass artist in Schwyz, also held military and administrative positions, notably as an officer and landvogt in Bellinzona. His oeuvre includes two stained-glass windows made in 1619, preserved in the parish of Gersau. Ziltiner represents a notable figure in the art of stained glass in the region, although little information is available about his career and influence.
