Franz Max Herzog
Born in 1911.
Died in 1961.
Franz Max Herzog was a writer and painter whose artistic career began in 1933 at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Stuttgart, where he studied under the direction of Walter Schneidler and Adolf Hölzel. After the Second World War, he settled in France, devoting himself exclusively to painting. Although his work is poorly documented, it bears witness to an artistic evolution shaped by his experience in Germany and his emigration to a new creative context.
