François Picot

Born in 1698.

Died in 1762.

François Picot is recognised for his work as a miniaturist and enamel painter. He produced a portrait of the Queen of England, attesting to his skill in the art of portraiture. He also founded a drawing school in Geneva, although his career was marked by an expulsion from that same city.

The details of his life and work remain partly obscure, leaving questions about his influence and legacy in the artistic field.
