François Allamand
Born in 1884.
Died in 1915.
A notarial deed drawn up in Viuz by the notary Claude‑Charles Fuljod (of Boëge), dated 16 January 1786, mentions a « François, son of the late Jean‑François Allamand, known as Bauffet ». The same document specifies that the persons involved were « both born and residing in the parish of Saint‑Jean », thereby situating their parochial origin.
The text records this François as guarantor for an obligation entered into in favour of the prior and canons of the Abbey of Sixt, represented by their attorney, François‑Joseph, son of the late Philibert Durod, a native of Thônes. The obligation concerns an annuity described as an « annual rent of 8 livres payable on the anniversary date », established until payment of a capital sum of 200 livres.
