Florian Fausch
Born in 1981.
Florian Fausch has an established trajectory spanning Swiss and German centres of artistic training.
His documented education includes attendance at the Schule für Gestaltung Zürich in 1999 and Meisterschüler status at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Prof. Siegfried Anzinger in 2001.
In 2011, he undertook a stay associated with the Kunststiftung Zürichsee at Villa Seerose in Horgen.
His early appearances in the exhibition circuit include participation in 'Brennpunkt' (Kunstverein Emmerich), 'Oszillation' (Galerie Schloss Neersen), 'Sollbruchstelle' (Jeanine Bean Gallery Berlin), and 'Radium' (Galerie Wehrli Zurich) in 2013. The remainder of the decade saw contributions to 'Vanish' (O&O Depot Berlin) and 'Plexus' (Kunstraum Unten Bochum) in 2015; 'Shift' (Janine Bean Gallery Berlin) and 'Viscous' (Kunstverein Duisburg) in 2016; and then 'Blende' (Janine Bean Gallery Berlin) and 'Insight Inside' (Galerie Haas und Gschwandtner Salzburg) in 2018. In 2019, he participated notably in an exhibition associated with a residency at the Gallery of the art academie Belgrade, as well as in the projects 'Stereoskop' (Künstlerverein Malkasten Düsseldorf) and 'Leetspeak' (Kunsthaus Essen).
More recently, his activities have included 'It’s a match' (with Beate Höing) and 'Latent' in 2022, 'Momentum' and 'Oblique' in 2023, followed by a presentation entitled 'INTERCONNECTION' at PYTHONGALLERY Zürich in 2024.
