Feuchtmayer
Born in 1600.
Died in 1799.
The Feuchtmayer family, originally from Wessobrunn in Upper Bavaria, practised their art between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. This family of artists distinguished itself in various fields, including stucco, sculpture, painting, architecture and printmaking. Their influence extended across several regions, notably southern Germany, Tyrol, the Lake Constance region and Switzerland.
Although their activity is well documented, certain aspects of their oeuvre remain uncertain, leaving scope for the continued exploration of their artistic legacy.
