Ferdinand Alexander Beck
Born in 1814.
Died in 1892.
Ferdinand Alexander Beck is recognised for his work as a stained-glass artist and draughtsman. His oeuvre encompasses stained-glass works, portraits, genre scenes and caricatures. A member of the Beck family of artists, he co-founded the Gebrüder Beck stained-glass manufactory in Schaffhausen with his brother Johann Jakob the Younger.
This collaboration probably contributed to the dissemination of their expertise in the field of glass art.
