Felix Brander was an artist associated with the Toggenburger Senntummaler movement. His work is distinguished by depictions of farmhouses, manor houses, and scenes from the economic life of his time. Alongside his artistic career, he also worked as a roofer, which may have influenced his view of the rural and architectural world.
Details of his life and artistic career remain partly obscure, leaving room for interpretation and further research into his legacy.
