Federico Marioni
Born in 1866.
Died in 1938.
Federico Marioni was an artist whose activity focused mainly on printmaking. From 1910 onwards, he devoted himself exclusively to this technique, producing lithographs and engravings. His work is distinguished by representations of views of Italian and Ticinese cities.
He was also the father of Mario Marioni, attesting to an artistic continuity within his family. The details of his career and influence, however, remain only partially documented.
