Erna Schillig

Erna Schillig was a Swiss artist recognised for her work as a painter, draughtswoman and textile artist. Her engagement with public art attests to her influence in the artistic field. From 1948 to 1967, she directed the Department of Christian Textiles at the School of Applied Arts in Lucerne, thereby contributing to the training and dissemination of textile art.
