Emmy Weber was an artist whose oeuvre is distinguished by its versatility. She worked as a stained-glass artist, but her talent also extended to painting on a variety of supports, including porcelain, glass, wood and textiles, as well as to jewellery design. She was the sister of Max Weber, who lived from 1904 to 1926.
Although her artistic career is less well known, it bears witness to a creative richness and diversity of techniques that merit further exploration.
