Emil Dill was a painter whose work focused on landscapes of Zug, interiors and portraits. Between 1895 and 1935, he worked as a teacher of drawing, calligraphy and mathematics at the Kantonsschule Zug. His teaching undoubtedly influenced several generations of artists and pupils, while also enriching the region’s artistic heritage.
