Elisabeth Füssli was an artist specialising in the painting of flowers and insects. She is often mentioned alongside her sister Anna, who also died young. A member of the notable Füssli family of artists, she was the daughter of Johann Kaspar Füssli the Elder.
Although her œuvre is poorly documented, it bears witness to an interest in nature and meticulous attention to detail, characteristics of her period.
