Domaine Dassier
Born in 1641.
Died in 1719.
Domaine Dassier is recognised as a medallist and goldsmith. He began his apprenticeship in 1667 with the clockmaker Henri Arlaud. In 1698, he was admitted as a master goldsmith.
He was also the father of Jean Dassier. However, the absence of signed or documented works makes it difficult to establish a corpus of his work, leaving a degree of uncertainty as to his artistic production.
