Cosmas Damian Asam was a German painter and architect. He is particularly known for his collaboration with his brother, Egid Quirin Asam, between 1724 and 1726, when working on the interior of the Stiftskirche in Einsiedeln. The son of Hans Georg Asam, he made his mark on his era through his artistic and architectural approach, although the details of his career remain only partially documented.
