Conrad Kuster
Born in 1730.
Died in 1802.
Conrad Kuster was a painter whose activity extended over a period of fifteen years in the Netherlands. In 1763, he returned to Winterthur, where he devoted himself to producing portraits and landscapes. He was also the father of Jakob Kuster and the uncle of Johann Kaspar Kuster, thus attesting to an artistic lineage.
The details of his oeuvre and influence remain to be explored, leaving questions about his impact on the artistic milieu of his time.
