Claude de Bolaz was an artist whose activity encompassed heraldic painting, glassmaking and sculpture. His first mention dates to the period 1501–1502 in Vevey. Among his notable works, he created a molasse relief in 1520 for the pulpit of the collegiate church of Romont.
In addition, between 1529 and 1532, he produced a stained-glass window for the Church of Saint Martin in Vevey, attesting to his engagement with sacred art and his expertise in various materials.
