Christoph Heilmann the Elder was a glass artist from Germany. In 1580, he is recorded as a Hintersäss in Freiburg im Üechtland. His work includes the production of stained-glass windows for the Jesuitenkolleg as well as for St Michael’s Church in Freiburg.
He also contributed to projects for a church in the canton of Vaud and for François de Monthey, Seneschal of Sitten in Valais.
