Christiane Zufferey

Christiane Zufferey (1920–2011) was an artist from Valais; her name and dates are listed in the SIKART entry. She is particularly recognised for depictions of the Rhône plain and Valère Cathedral, recurring subjects identified by the sources consulted.

An online sale of a work entitled «Plaine du Rhône et Valère» was reported by the Galerie des Annonciades, attesting to the commercial circulation of at least one piece related to these motifs.

The entry consulted on notrehistoire.ch presents her as the daughter of the photographer Gaston Zufferey.

The available information therefore focuses on her regional rootedness — views of the Rhône plain and Valère Cathedral — and on a few documentary and commercial attestations, without any publicly available details concerning the extent of her corpus or her technical practices.
