Carlo Nuvolone detto il Panfilo
Born in 1681.
Carlo Nuvolone, known as il Panfilo, was a Milanese painter born in 1681 and came from a family of artists active in Lombardy and Piedmont from the seventeenth to the eighteenth century. He is particularly recognised for his collaboration with his brother, Antonio Nuvolone, on an impressive ornamental fresco situated in the dome of the church of S. Martino in Savognin, a work dated to the same year as his birth.
The details of his later career remain uncertain, leaving an element of mystery surrounding his artistic path.
