Bruno Wurster was a versatile artist recognised for his work as an engraver, lithographer and collagist. He also distinguished himself in the technique of ink painting. Wurster trained under the direction of Max von Mühlenen in Bern and continued his studies at academies in Munich and Nuremberg.
His career bears witness to an artistic exploration rooted in tradition while also investigating varied forms of expression.
