Bramantino
Born in 1465.
Died in 1530.
Bramantino is recognised as a painter and architect, and as a representative of the Lombard Renaissance. Between 1515 and 1520, he produced a notable work, the Pala de la Fuite en Égypte, intended for the sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso in Orselina. He may also have been the author of the sinopias in the Chapel of Saint Bernardino at S.
Maria delle Grazie in Bellinzona, although this attribution remains uncertain.
