Ben Vautier

Born in 1935.

Died in 2024.

Ben Vautier was an artist whose work was carried out primarily in Nice. His oeuvre is characterised by a multidisciplinary approach incorporating painting and writing, as well as forms of expression such as performance and happening. Vautier successfully combined these different practices to create a unique dialogue between art and the public, exploring the limits of artistic creation.
