Beat Kolin was a draughtsman whose activity in the artistic sphere of the seventeenth century is documented. In 1664, he collaborated with his brother Jakob Kolin on the paintings of the Zytturm in Zug. He may also have been the author of the drawings appearing in the Zurlauben family book.
Beat Kolin was the son of Bartholomäus Kolin, pointing to a family heritage within the artistic milieu.
