Auguste Panchaud
Born in 1845.
Died in 1885.
Auguste Panchaud was a painter whose work focused on the landscapes of Lake Geneva. Although little detailed information is available about his career, his interest in this emblematic region of Switzerland suggests a deep connection with his natural surroundings. The landscapes of Lake Geneva, often imbued with light and colour, inspired numerous artists of his time, and Panchaud appears to belong to this tradition.
His work may reflect the nuances and beauty of this aquatic setting, but details of his techniques and influences remain to be explored.
