Auguste Behre
Born in 1857.
Auguste Behre was a decorative painter whose work was carried out mainly in the Lausanne region. He contributed in particular to the embellishment of the Hôtel-Château in Ouchy and the Hôtel Byron in Villeneuve. Although little information is available about his career and background, his work bears witness to a commitment to interior decoration, characteristic of the hotels of his time.
