Arthur König was a painter whose career, although brief, attests to a solid training. He began his training as a decorator, which undoubtedly influenced his artistic approach. From 1904 onwards, he continued his studies at the Munich School of Fine Arts, an institution recognised for the richness of its artistic instruction.
His life was cut short in 1910, leaving behind an oeuvre whose scope and style remain to be explored.
