Arend Fuhrmann was an artist engaged in the Concrete Art movement. He was a member of Movimento Arte Concreta as well as Movimento 22. In addition, he contributed to the Ticino section of the Society of Swiss Painters, Architects and Sculptors.
His work bears witness to an aesthetic inquiry situated within the artistic currents of his time, although details of his production remain partially obscure.
