Albrecht Kauw II.
Born in 1669.
Died in 1690.
Albrecht Kauw II was a portrait painter active in Basel. He became a member of the Zunft Zum Himmel in the same year. His works, primarily portraits, are documented between 1670 and 1690.
He was probably the son of Albrecht Kauw I, although this relationship has not been confirmed. His artistic activity, though limited in duration, attests to an engagement with the tradition of portraiture at that time.
